File talk:Human female render.jpg
I understand it is quite hard to see this, but if you look carefully, you can see this archer has the same outfit as the girl in this picture. ^^ Ranger Profession? --Amannelle

- Well, the guy who made this also made the female ele from the new videos. Then he puts out a man and a woman in heavy armour. Me thinks the warrior reveal is coming up. --hexal 16:12, 5 May 2010 (UTC)
- Actually, this girl isn't a warrior, she's probably a ranger. I can show you a picture of the female warrior armor if you'd like. ^^ --Amannelle

- Doesn't necessarily have to be a Ranger, this. That pic you linked,... Warriors have been confirmed to be able to wield bows as well. --Naoroji
16:15, 5 May 2010 (UTC)
- Very true, the reason I doubt she is a warrior is because her armor is lighter; seemingly "Adventurer" armor. --Amannelle

- Remember Elite Glads? :P --Naoroji
16:22, 5 May 2010 (UTC)
- ^^ I see what you mean. However, as far as armor goes, this is not the female equivalent of the "male warrior armor" as far as we've seen. Actually, it seems this is the female equivalent for it, which is why I wonder if this armor would be for a different class. It's all just speculation, of course. :) --Amannelle

- You're right, it isn't the equivalent of the male Warrior we've seen so far. But, that Gladiator-ish armor we've seen so far might be one of the Human Warrior armors. And the armor this girl is wearing might be one of the Norn Warrior armors,... Hey, I'm just saying; we can't be sure :P. --Naoroji
16:26, 5 May 2010 (UTC)
- Quite right. However... this isn't Norn Armor, for it is worn by humans, not Norn... unless Norn wear it also. ^^ See the woman on the far left? --Amannelle
16:28, 5 May 2010 (UTC)
- Doesn't have to be a Norn to wear it, the fur and chains just reminded me of Norn armor-ish armor D: --Naoroji
16:32, 5 May 2010 (UTC)
- It does look like Norn armor, doesn't it? ^_^ I always thought that was a curious little tidbit there, seeing as how it really doesn't fit in with the rest of the human outfits as far as we've seen. :D I guess we'll find out more later on as they reveal more information about the professions, as well as the armor they wear. ^^ --Amannelle
16:34, 5 May 2010 (UTC)
- The guy who uploaded it said it's a human in heavy armour. Anyway, we've seen asura in this armour. --hexal 16:36, 5 May 2010 (UTC)
- Oooo really? :D I didn't know that, thanks for the info! ^^ But.. I don't recall seeing any Asura in anything close to this armor... I don't doubt your words, but I would personally like to see these pictures, since I always love seeing new stuff for GW2. :D Thanks! --Amannelle

Heavy Armor[edit]
This IS apparently Soldier armor. This is a quote regarding this armor, as well as this one : "Here are a couple of ingame models. Both are human wearing heavy armor. I designed, modeled and textured the face and body. I designed but did not model the armor on the female. Hai Phan designed the armor on the male." -- Aaron Coberly. :D Guess that answers THAT question. --Amannelle

Larger File?[edit]
Hey, if anyone has an attachment manager, here is a larger version of this picture. --Amannelle

- One should check which extensions those images are. Because now, it looks like the 'New' one is of worse quality (higher ress, but lower amount of space needed?) --Naoroji
17:14, 8 May 2010 (UTC)
- Well dont ask me.i just did what Amannelle said. --Neil2250
17:29, 8 May 2010 (UTC)
- Both are apparently JPEG, but that means that the new one is of lower quality. Should we opt for quality or size...? --Naoroji
17:59, 8 May 2010 (UTC)
- They both look exactly the same to me, they both open in the same resolution for me too. :/ --hexal
18:15, 8 May 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry Naoroji, I thought the new one was higher quality. ^^ You can change back if you'd prefer. --Amannelle
18:28, 8 May 2010 (UTC)
- Ohey, no need to apologise, was just throwing this in there :P. I don't know what to do either, lol. --Naoroji
18:29, 8 May 2010 (UTC)
- I viewed them both, and the new one is bigger/better quality than the old one.-- Shew ♠♠♠ 18:31, 8 May 2010 (UTC)
- But then, if they're both the same extension,... How come the newer one takes less kb's? xD --Naoroji
18:38, 8 May 2010 (UTC)
- It's a matter of the picture itself having lower quality than the older one. Less colors used, less clean blending...or something like that. I'm no good with art.
- Anyway, personally I would opt for the higher quality over the larger image size. The newer one was probably just resized in MS Paint or something. --Kyoshi
(Talk) 18:45, 8 May 2010 (UTC)
- Well that picture was posted on a concept art site by Aaron Coberly himself, so I doubt it's just "resized in MS Paint", but I'm up for either picture; either one works. ^^ --Amannelle
18:50, 8 May 2010 (UTC)
- Fair point. I think it's the background, actually; the color seems different. Might just be the extra colors in the palette (did I get that vocabulary right?) increasing the file size...or something. Doesn't matter to me, then. --Kyoshi
(Talk) 19:25, 8 May 2010 (UTC)
- If you check this and click on it, there is an even larger version of it. The same goes for all Aaron Coberly's art pics (except the ele one). 91.82.65.32 19:37, 8 May 2010 (UTC)
