A gate can be found on Mepi's Moa Ranch, keeping the nearby Domesticated Moas and Pigs inside their pens, safe from any nearby dangers, such as bandits.

Dialogue[edit]
- While closed
- A rusted old lock holds the gate closed. Someone wants to make sure the moas aren't running loose.

- While open
- The gate is held open by a long metal spike driven into the dirt.

Historical[edit]
- The gate guarding the pigs
- The gate is locked tight.

Notes[edit]
- Rancher Mepi will open the gate when taking the moas out to graze (before sometimes being ambushed by bandits), and close it again after returning.
- The interaction prompt reads "Open" while it is closed and the moas are in the pen.
- The interaction prompt reads "Close" while it is open and the moas are out grazing.
- Despite the interact options, the gate cannot be opened or closed by the player.
Trivia[edit]
- Historically all the gates around the pen could be interacted with. This was likely changed with New Player Experience of the September 2014 Feature Pack.
