The Ruins of Oldgate is an area within the Diessa Plateau. This dark forested plain is filled with the ancient ruins of a lost military outpost who once stood before The Searing. Ascalonians from various destroyed settlements came there to get away from the Flame Legion. Alas, the outpost was razed to the ground and all of its inhabitants slain when the Flame Legion attacked it. Since the Foefire, many Ascalonian ghosts roam here fighting all that enter the ruins.
