Sonic Periscopes are Molten Alliance spying devices found around Diessa Plateau, eavesdropping on anyone passing by. They combine sonic technology and flame magic for their defenses, and when destroyed, the wreckage contains an Audio Log which can be turned in to Agent Brandubh. One also makes an appearance during The Battle for Cragstead.

Notes[edit]
- Only three of the periscopes per zone had the Defeat Molten Alliance forces in the area event, attached to them. [1]
- The Sonic Periscope Wreckage remains until the periscope respawns, after approximately five minutes. During that time, the wreckage can be looted by anyone, however, each one will only produce one one audio log each day.
Trivia[edit]
- Sonic Periscopes were reintroduced to Diessa Plateau with the Living World Season 1: Flame and Frost Update on April 19, 2022.
- After the concluding chapter of the original Flame and Frost, there were still several periscopes in the world, but most of them were "dormant" and did not attack NPCs or players. Some, like the one near Angvar's Trove, left nearby waypoints contested. This was fixed in a subsequent update.
