Astral Ward Report is a scroll found north east of the Grove of the First Kryptis that needs to be read during the A Record of War: The Celestial achievement.
Text[edit]
There were eight of us that left to bring down that extractor. Eight of our finest. We set out at what passes for twilight around here. We stayed low, kept to the shadows, followed all of our covert protocols. I want the record to show that every soldier performed their duties admirably.
I don't know when they spotted us, but they attacked as we rounded the cliff edge. Maja, Genn, and Baiko were sent tumbling into the abyss, their screams swallowed by the void. By the time I had opened the portal, Allene was cut to ribbons and Arni was impaled on one of their claws. I'll remember the look in his eyes as long as I live.
Eight soldiers left that night. Three returned. The extractor still stands.
