Eparch's memory about Aurkus

Aurkus is the founder of the Kryptis House Aurkus and the master of Apate, Kanaxai, and Umbriel. He supported Eparch's ascension as the Midnight King of Nayos and pledged the warriors of House Aurkus for Eparch to invade Tyria at the king's behest when Eparch convinced the founders of the Kryptis houses of the threat which Tyria and Isgarren posed to Nayos.[1] When some Kryptis began voicing their disapproval towards the king's ruthless methods, Aurkus ordered Kanaxai to execute Lady Mosyn, founder of House Mosyn, at the Coliseum of the Midnight King for Mosyn's defiance against Eparch.[2] Aurkus personally tortured and dismembered some Kryptis and delivered them to Eparch to devour.[3]

Aurkus did not appear in public to fight for Eparch during Peitha's rebellion. However, shortly after Eparch's demise and Peitha's ascension to the Midnight Throne at the end of the Kryptis civil war in 1337 AE, Apate appeared in the Citadel of Zakiros as the representing Emissary of Aurkus along with other Kryptis nobles and emissaries to acknowledge Peitha as the new Midnight King. Aurkus's current fate is unknown.
