Mordant Crescent[edit]
Commander is a rank used for the senior military officer in the Mordant Crescent in Elona during Palawa Joko's reign. It is unclear how the rank compares to the three Awakened marshals, but the commander likewise commands a large number of Awakened forces.

Pact[edit]
The Pact Marshal, who leads the Pact, is aided by multiple officers directly under them who are given the rank of Pact Commander, or Commander of the Pact. One of these Commanders is typically the closest lieutenant of the Marshal and the first among their equals. The first Pact Commander served in this role for Trahearne, while the identity of Logan Thackeray's closest Pact Commander has not been revealed.[1]

Vigil[edit]
The Vigil gives the rank of commander to senior military officers who handle regional operations. However, it is unclear if the commander rank was already in use in the Vigil prior to the three Orders forming the Pact, or if it was invented after the successful forming of the alliance.
