Emboldened Motes are small interactive will-o'-wisps found in Raids near the entrance of each wing that allow you to disable the Emboldened effect if it is active.

Dialogue

Emboldened mode will grant you significant power to defeat your enemies. Each time you fail, you are awarded a stack of Emboldened, up to a maximum of 5.

Deactivate Emboldened Mode (while enabled)

Activate Emboldened Mode (while disabled)

Notes

• Activating any challenge mode using a Challenge Mote will disable the Emboldened effect and despawn this mote until the challenge mode is deactivated again.
• Deactivating the mode shows the message "Emboldened mode deactivated."
• Reactivating the mode shows the message "Emboldened mode activated."

Anomalies:

• Reactivating the mode also shows a banner: Emboldened mode activated.
• Deactivating a challenge mode does not reapply the Emboldened effect if it was active previously.
  • The Emboldened mote will still require you to deactivate it before reactivating to regain the effect.
