Furious Stretch

The Furious Stretch[1] is a region in the far north of the continent of Tyria that forms the coast connecting the Far Shiverpeaks to the bay north of Janthir. The kodan would have originated from the nearby coastline due to being from north of the Far Shiverpeaks and lived on glacial cities called Sanctuaries in the arctic seas.[2]
It is possible that Jormag awoke in or near this area as they marched south upon the norn after waking.[3] Additionally, Jormag capsized and scattered the kodan Sanctuaries, forcing some south into the Far Shiverpeaks' newly created inland sea.[2][4]
