Yes, they get easily distracted when they're newly awakened. Firstborn Aife has the patience of a cycle luminary. I, on the other hand, do not—even though I'm Cycle of Dawn.

What is a cycle luminary?

Cycle luminaries are the firstborn who lead each of the four cycles. Aife is the dawn cycle luminary, Kahedins for dusk, Niamh for noon, and Malomedies for night.

Yes, like Aife, I am a Dawn bloom. It may not show right now, but I have good diplomatic and reasoning skills. I expect to leave the Grove one day and join the Durmand Priory.

I've heard from or about Caithe, Kahedins, Malomedies and Niamh in recent days.

She's off adventuring, as always. They say that when she emerged from the Dream, she immediately left to explore the world. She is gone a lot.

Kahedins is never far. His passion for creative pursuits, like plant shaping, keeps him busy though. Look in the Grove's gardens and terraces. He likes to spend time maintaining them.

He's most active at night. Maybe ask one of the other Cycles of Night. I don't recommend bothering him when he's buried in his mathematics, though.

She's often with the other Cycles of Noon, practicing their weapons skills and training with the Wardens. Follow the sound of clashing steel, and you're likely to find her.
