Overview map

Illuminating Skywatch Archipelago is a Skywatch Archipelago achievement that involves revisiting map exploration across Skywatch Archipelago and lighting a Starlight Lantern at each location. The lanterns are not visible to characters who have not completed the map.

This is a repeatable achievement to obtain Gift of Skywatch Archipelago from the reward chest.

Walkthrough

Mechanics

• Achievement is repeatable, and the chest upon completion gives you the items that go towards the legendary armor Obsidian armor.
• Lanterns that have already been lit are not interactable anymore until the achievement is completed.
• After completing a map, you must re-enter the map in order to see the lanterns.
• Lanterns can be lit while mounted (including while under stealth from Stealth 2.0 (mount)) and while moving.
• Some lanterns are on floating islands above the fractals. The easiest way to reach them is by griffon or skyscale, starting your flight from the  Wizard's Tower South Gate — .

Locate each Starlight Lantern (a total of 57), which are around the waypoints and points of interests. To light them, you just need to interact with them.

52	Western Research Facilities			Western Research Facilities —	From the  Rata Novus Promenade Waypoint — , head south and go up the ramp, then enter the room on the left, and go up the stairs on the left. Alternatively, enter the portal in the  Gate Research Lab — , then turn left after exiting the portal and go up the stairs.
53	Bridge between Worlds			Bridge between Worlds —	On a cliff facing Primal Maguuma. From the Rata Novus Promenade Waypoint, go north up the ramp. Follow the path west to get to the cliff.
