Lightning Rods are found around Steeleye Span, in a group of four surrounding a primary coil. The rods need to be activated in the correct order, which then triggers the coil in the middle and summons a Branded Spark.

- Incorrect rod
- The lightning rod flashes briefly before shutting down. It doesn't appear to have much effect on the primary coil.
I should try activating the other rods.
- Correct first rod
- The lightning rod comes to life with a soft buzz.
- I should try activating the other rods.
- Correct second rod
- The lightning comes to life, emitting two short buzzes.
- Two down. Two to go.
- Correct third rod
- The lightning comes to life, emitting three short buzzes.
- One more left.
- Correct fourth rod
- The lightning rod has triggered the coil!
- Leave the lightning rod.
Notes[edit]
- After activating the fourth rod, the incorrect rod text comes up briefly before the proper text.
- The correct order seems to be either clockwise or counter-clockwise.
