Enemies leave a path of poison behind them. Blocking a toxic trail attack will absorb it, cleanse poison, and pulse exposed to enemies near the source of the trail.

Mechanics[edit]

  • Causes enemies to create green AoE circles underneath themselves which deal direct damage and inflicts poisoned.
Exposed is not applied to the enemy that was the source of a blocked trail.

August 22, 2023 Secrets of the Obscure release:
  • Fixed an issue that prevented the exposed effect from being applied when a toxic trail attack was blocked.
July 19, 2022
  • In addition to cleansing the area, blocking a trail attack now applies the exposed condition to enemies near the source of the trail. This effect can be triggered once per second per trail.
January 08, 2019
  • Enemies leave a path of poison behind them. Blocking a toxic-trail attack will absorb it and cleanse the condition.
March 27, 2018
  • Toxic Trail has had its visual size reduced, and a thin red area-of-effect ring indicator has been added.

  • Added low-duration poison to toxic trails. Poison will make damage from toxic trails more visible while slightly increasing the pressure from them.
