“While in party mode, you will only be able to see your own character and party members. If you have no one in your party, you will only see yourself.
— In-game description
Party Mode is an effect that can be optionally applied during certain adventures and jumping puzzles in the Horn of Maguuma and Castora. It hides the models of player characters outside the affected player's party, preventing them from obstructing the player's view. It can be applied in the following locations:
- Wizard's Tower: Gauntlet Challenge, an adventure in the Wizard's Tower
- Inquest Hologram, a jumping puzzle in Starlit Weald
- Munchin' Moths, a jumping puzzle in Eternity's Garden
Notes[edit]
- It does not hide the models of pets, minions, Jade Mechs CJ-1, or miniatures.
Trivia[edit]
- At some point, likely with the release of Guild Wars 2: Visions of Eternity, this effect's description was updated to remove a reference to the Wizard's Trial.
