A Ray of Light is found in the second room of the Forsaken Fortune mini-dungeon in Forsaken Halls and a sample can be taken, giving a Box of Captured Light. It is also used to overcharge a Charged Quartz to acquire a Solar Overcharged Quartz required for the Bolt III: Zap Legendary Weapons collection.
