— In-game description
Residual Anxiety is a 3-minute effect applied to players during the Cosmic Observatory strike mission from the following sources:
- Getting hit by the Soul Feast attack.
- Getting hit by the Demonic Blast attack.
Notes[edit]
- Reaching 10 stacks of this effect results in the player losing control and turning hostile to other players.
- This resets the stack counter to zero.
- Hostile players will stay hostile, indefinitely, until put into downstate or hit by a disabling effect (daze, stun, knockback, fear... etc).[verification requested]
- Hostile players will be immune to Non-disabling control effects (cripple, slow, chill, blind... etc).
- Hostile players will retain control over their skills, however they will be automatically taunted for 2s towards a party/subgroup member.[verification requested]
- Hostile players can provide boons, including stealth, to Dagda.
- Hostile players will be allied with Dagda and other hostile players.
- If all players are downed/turned hostile, the instance will reset with the squad defeated.
- During the challenge mode, stacks of this effect become permanent and can only be reset once the player loses control.
- In order to get the achievement, "Precision Anxiety", you have to get 10 stacks in order to be turned hostile, and then get back to your normal state without being downed. Despite the wording of this achievement suggesting only players that are alive needing to be successfully get turned hostile and turning back, players that are dead at the end of the encounter also need to successfully get turned and back. Going into downstate while being hostile does not affect eligibility.
