Rune Jars is a plaque describing the many oversized jars seen throughout Elona near djinn enclaves.

Rune Jars
Djinn runecrafters have long used these vessels to cleanse magical artifacts and immerse them in desired energies. Crafters traditionally dwell within them during the process.
The interior crystals are often mistaken for branding by modern observers, but they are simply clusters of cultivated amethysts.
