Santach, the Knight of Avarice, is a sylvari who abused Leanuit's love to gain access to the Nightmare Court. To be initiated into the court, he had to seduce and use an innocent to deliver a new seedling to be corrupted, and he used Leanuit to gain access to a Newly Awakened seedling whom he took with him after knocking Leanuit unconscious.
