Chapter 10
Svanhild could not deny the feeling rising within her chest as she watched Bruna leap from piñata to piñata, Zhaitaffy spraying everywhere in a shower of sweet, sensual confetti.
Everything about Bruna was perfect. Her eyes were the deepest shade of Kralkachocolate, her muscles as taut as the finest Jorbreaker. Oh, what Svanhild would do for a nice, firm Jorbreaker right now.
"Hm. She's quite beautiful, isn't she?"
Svanhild was dragged back to Hoelbrak all at once as Karenina took her hand in claw. Her Karenina. Who she had sacrificed so much for. Who she could never betray, not for all the Jorbreakers in the world.
But then, Karenina laughed. "Do not worry. I am not jealous," the dredge proclaimed. "Love, like candy, should be given freely." As music swelled, she struck a dramatic pose. "Lovers of the world, unite! We have nothing to lose but our clothes."
