• This Tale recounts the story of Dougal Keane, a human tasked in 1324 AE with retrieving the Claw of the Khan-Ur from the ruins of Ascalon City to broker peace between the humans and the charr. His success permitted the Ebonhawke Treaty. His story is told in the novel Ghosts of Ascalon.

October 28, 2025	Visions of Eternity release: Tale of the Honorable Rogue has been added to the game. This skill no longer applies swiftness and removes movement-impairing conditions and instead applies aegis in PvE and PvP and stability in WvW. This skill now always applies superspeed and grants a note when used while the drums are playing.
August 19, 2025	Tale of the Honorable Rogue was available during the Visions of Eternity elite specialization Beta Event.
