Unusable nest egg

There is a nest in the southeast corner of Skyward Marches in the POI Balkor's Camp. It has an egg but it doesn't seem to be abandoned, so unintractable. FSCC084 (talk) 05:43, 23 August 2023 (UTC)

Another Egg nest

Sadly I didn't screenshotted it at the time but im pretty sure there is an abandoned nest near the western Vista in Primal Maguuma jungle. If someone can screenshot it and add it to the page it will be appriciated. Also I would add that I think there is 1 nest for each Bastion in Amnytas (I remember I collected at least 3 undocumented nests). There are no nests in "The wizard's Tower"

Number of nests needed for completion

We have conflicting information: [1] and [2]. I had to go to all of the nests and found the egg in the Bastion of Strength, but then 3 new nests were added on the wiki. TxM (talk) 10:53, 24 August 2023 (UTC)

I personally claimed 11/11 in Skywatch Archipelago, and 6/9 in Amnytas before I got my egg. I used the wikis ordering, and claimed mine at Bastion of the Obscure. -Warks-a-Lot. 16:44, 24 August 2023 (UTC)

I checked all of the ones listed for Skywatch Archipelago (11), then checked 4 of the Amnytas ones, before finding the egg in the Bastion of the Obscure location (another 5, making 16 nests to find an egg). Arrowmaster - 15:21, 27 August 2023 (UTC)

Complete the Skyscale Growing Comforts collection

I found this portion of the page misleading as it only lists 4 items to obtain, whereas if you click the Skyscale Growing Comforts link you find on that page that there are actually 14 items to get, with many of them requiring you to hunt stuff until you get lucky! (so not as easy as the first impression). The Skyscale Treat is a bit of a pain as you can only make one Charged Quartz Crystal a day (and you need 12 of them, created from 300 Quartz Crystals), plus the other ingredients, so the alternative is to buy the treats in trade (although that is expensive!). Skyscale of Life

If you don't progress the achivement "Skyscale Egg Infusion" with the same character on which you unlocked it, it may be that the "Skyscale of life" step does not progress.

I'm going through the Secrets of the Obscure with a relatively new character that doesn't have all the world unlocked up to that point, so I switched to my main, but I could not get any revives of NPCs around the town of Nageling to progress the achievement.

Back on the character I unlocked the whole collection and it worked.

All other collection steps seems they can be completed on a different character instead.

Interesting. Certainly be worth reporting it as a bug, at least. I can't try to verify it, though, since I've already completed the achievement. BTW, when using talk pages on a wiki, it is customary to "sign" your posts by ending them with 4 tildes (~), which automatically inserts your username and and post timestamp when you submit the edit. -- Kaedys (talk) 14:51, 26 October 2025 (UTC)
