Is there any way to know -- officially -- what the drop rate is?

I would like to know how long it takes to drop, since the Treasure Hunter achievement is impossible without it.

I'm not any sort of official anything, but I do remember getting it after a few tries. Mind you, this was also a few years ago, but I doubt they changed the drop rate of it. - Do_odleplex 04:47, 8 December 2019 (UTC)

It took me a few months, killing him multiple times a day with various characters. You can do so, as the chest is lootable once each day per character, not account. Diminishing returns is a factor here, but it is all RNG. Wolf Sabian (talk) 05:09, 8 December 2019 (UTC)

How often can this actually be looted?

I just downed Rhendak the Crazed back to back and both times I was able to loot "a chest" there are two of them on the pedestal, can which ever chest that drops the Chalice of Rhendak be rolled for more than once a day per character? Or only has a change the first time per day per character? I'll be trying it out more than once per day on the same character, would appreciate confirmation UnderworldRanger (talk) 21:08, 29 March 2025 (UTC)

The Grand chest can only be looted once per day per character. Years ago I was farming this for the Treasure Hunter achievement and different characters was required.- Wolf Sabian (talk) 22:52, 29 March 2025 (UTC)
