It looks like he only steps forward and gets the merchant icon over his head after the event Protect the statue from destruction completes. Due to the big amount of mobs involved, most people might finish the heart alongside the event and it is the event that unlocks him, not the heart completion. That being said, the vendor appears to be bugged as it does not offer a vendor window for any of my characters regardless of heart / event completion. Endaris (talk) 16:50, 12 October 2025 (UTC)

Today I got on the map and he had not spawned yet. Completion of Gather stone to bolster the statue of Chokocooka made him spawn and walk to his spot without completing the renown heart. The vendor still appears bugged. Endaris (talk) 13:34, 13 October 2025 (UTC)
