Talk:Defeat the enraged grawl rampaging through Martyr's Woods
Solo-able Group Event[edit]
This event can be completed by one player, all you need is precise timing to avoid the attacks from the grawl, and constantly apply poison, bleed, burning conditions to it. Paladinofmm 05:44, 12 November 2012 (UTC)

8-June-2021 - problem continued. Anet needs to fix this.
9-June-2021 - https://wiki.gw2.org.cn/wiki/Server_reset Wednesday 00:00 UTC+8 Releases and major game updates launch. Festivals and special events begin.
If you experienced same trouble finding the spawn, best solution is to make a ticket for a fix. Or wait for the server patch time, visit the martyrs woods and install the patch. When you come back the champion is spawned in the area. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 112.118.173.152 (talk) at 16:17, 8 June 2021 (UTC).
03-2026 - bug fixed ?[edit]
I was in 2 map instances (using 2 accounts), both of them supposedly not new. In both maps, I stayed around to complete the event chain (badazar's champion => kill shamans => drive grawl away) twice, for a total of 4 event chains. All 4 times, npcs (Legionnaire Zagan Bendsteel and Blood Legion Scout) walked back to reported to Tesserarius Drivenhail who then stopped having the grawl dialog mentioned in the bug notice. Which means that at least 2 distinct map instances have the event repeating properly. I am therefore removing the first bullet point in the bug notice (the one that says that the event can only happen once per instance). I'd entirely remove the notice (top of page) as well as the regular bug (bottom of page), but it is still necessary to check what happens when the 2nd event fails. - I went on this map two months after your report. The events that follow this one were correctly working, and upon completing them the event chain eventually reseted normally. I agree that the "significantly bugged" notice at the top of the page should be removed, but the part explaining how to check if the event chain is stuck should probably be kept and moved to the page notes, as it might still have value in case the bug isn't fully fixed or should eventually return. It can still potentially save people a lot of pointless waiting time. 79.84.48.147 13:19, 3 June 2026 (UTC)
