Can its stats be changed in the Mystic Forge? Is it important to remove the infusion before changing its stats?

Yes, its stats can be changed, and yes it is important to remove teh infusion because all infusions get destroyed while MF'ing. However you can rebuy the infusion in Lion's Arch. ~Sime 23:35, 4 September 2024 (UTC)

Game updates/2024-09-10[edit]

After the update, Falling Star is no longer set to Valkyrie, and is now stat selectable --GoingMenthol (talk) 17:34, 10 September 2024 (UTC)

Updated spear and gloves now. --Dak393 (talk) 18:55, 10 September 2024 (UTC)

Salvage results[edit]

I just salvaged mine and got 2 Mithril Ore no Lumber. Autositz (talk) 15:03, 7 January 2025 (UTC)

Thanks, I'll add that to the main page results. You can see my edit for how to do that in the future too. --Dak393 (talk) 22:11, 7 January 2025 (UTC)
I got 1 mithril ore. At least if it weren't salvageable I wouldn't have wasted an ascended salvage use. - Kirbman talk 11:40, 11 November 2025 (UTC)

Heat Core Infusion Discrepancy[edit]

If you use the Falling Star (skin) for your land spear and underwater spear

Option 1: With the heat core infusion in your gloves, both will get the superheated effect.
Option 2: If you put the heat core infusion directly into your spear, the effect will not carry over to the 2nd skin; the 2nd skin will only have both ends of the spear glow hotly when equipped.

Would be expected that it does not have the effect when the infusion is not equipped/active. Strange that it would have any effect at all. Will do some testing later and see if I can replicate and maybe get some image examples. --Dak393 (talk) 21:03, 24 September 2025 (UTC)
