Account or Character?[edit]
The page says for your character creation but the gift message says account activation. Are we going to get these per character or is it just one a year per account? Darcy (talk) 11:01, 25 August 2013 (UTC)
- It's per character. w3by [TALK] @ 11:10, 25 August 2013 (UTC)
- The gifts are per character but its a fair point actually, the gift message says account activation. Thats not at all the same as character birthdays. Do we think thats just a phrasing muck up?

Same mini for every character[edit]
Sadly the present's contents are the same per character. What am I going to do with multiple Queens? Play dollhouse? - 04:42 UTC Garrondinio
- Well it means each of your characters can have one without having to transfer it via the bank every time u swap chars. But other than that, yeah .. not so useful. --Combatter (talk) 08:53, 26 August 2013 (UTC)
- Anyone know why it's not a random mini from a annual collection like with GW1? Was rather looking forward to my character's birthdays and being able to maybe fill in a few minis, but once you gotten your first character's birthday queen mini, every subsequent birthday is rather a let-down, not anything to look forward to. For that matter, why give characters who are already been in existence for 1 year a XP scroll that boosts them to level 20; after one years play, a vast majority of player's characters are going to be past lvl20 I'd have thought. Seems a strange item for a birthday gift, no? --Wolfie

- They gave you the scroll so you will buy another character slot, and level it to 20--Sonyareanne (talk) 13:33, 28 August 2013 (UTC)
- I had already bought extra slots so I could have one of every profession, and the scrolls were helpful because the profession or two that I just couldn't get into were much more fun to play with more skills unlocked. Plus if there's one even a little over 20 that I'm not in love with, I wouldn't feel so bad scrapping it to start over knowing I can skip a few levels at the start. But the mini is kinda wtf. I thought "Hey cool, you could toss 4 into the forge and get a different rare, but she doesn't even show up in the forge panel. Poo.--Mortbane (talk) 14:48, 31 August 2013 (UTC)

Random drop?[edit]
I just got one of these on a character more than 10 years old, but it wasn't in the mail or anything. I had just completed the Decade of Adventure: Crystal Desert achievement in the Elon Riverlands and had several reward chests bouncing around, so I right-clicked them and got the Dragon Decade Weapon Pack. I killed a couple of scarabs on my way to buy a skimmer saddle, and when I got there, bought the skimmer, and sold my junk, I noticed I had a First Birthday Gift in my inventory that hadn't been there before. I've played this game so much over the past 13 years (this was an alt account) and this is the first time I've ever had a birthday gift drop randomly. Screenshot attached, since it probably sounds like I'm making it up. And no, I didn't just get this out of my mail after letting it sit there for 9+ years. --RoyHarmon (talk) 08:29, 5 October 2025 (UTC)
