Considering the achievement titles all share a reference to the player's interestingness, the "I'm Very Buoyant" title may be a in interlingual pun on the Dutch word "boeiend", pronounced in a similar way, meaning "fascinating". 86.86.56.9 09:13, 12 August 2022 (UTC)

Fun coincidence but not the case. The titles are references to the GW1 Kind of a Big Deal title track with fishing puns, as noted in the Trivia section. Myriada (talk) 09:41, 12 August 2022 (UTC)

Completed Collections Bug

There was a bug mentioned in 2022 where one collection would not count towards the total for Cod Swimming Amongst Mere Minnows - so for example, even though you would open the collection and see 24 completed steps (ticked green), the collection would say 23/30. This made the final collection unachievable because before the update that added the SotO and JW collections to it, there were exactly 30 collections to complete.

In November 2024, the bug was apparently finally fixed. See https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/topic/120908-cod-swimming-amongst-mere-minnows-still-bugged-at-2930-merged/ for details. The forum post left no indications as to how the bug was fixed however.

On my side, I did encounter the bug (had 21 collections ticked but the counter only said 20/30), and the counter remained incorrect even up until July 2025. When I completed Avid World Class Fisher a second time though, it updated the counter to 21/30 (even though I had already completed Avid World Class Fisher once and it was ticked as completed under the meta achievement). So my guess was that the bugged collection was that one, and what the fix did is allow a completion of that collection to correctly count towards the meta achievement.

So if you are still in a situation where your total counter is incorrect (e.g. showing 23/30 even though you have 24 collections ticked as complete in the list), try completing Avid World Class Fisher again. Futeko (talk) 01:40, 4 July 2025 (UTC)
