Reading the description for this item it seems confusing. Both the Metabolic Primer and the Infinite Metabolic Primer result in a 12h effect. That doesn't seem like "infinite" by any stretch of the word for the latter primer

So does the *infinite" metabolic driver continue in effect forever? Or does it stay in inventory forever, but the player has to click on it every 12 hours? If the latter, why? Why not leave it in effect as long as it's in a character's inventory? Why the screwball 12 hour "reactivation"

The actual mechanic is that you have to double click on the item to consume 250 badges, which applies 12 hours of the Metabolic Primer effect, and then you consume a food/utility item to boost the item's duration to 12 hours (or the remaining duration).

Infinite refers to the gizmo not being consumed/deleted upon use.

I have mine in my shared inventory slot, I don't want it active all the time on all characters. -Chieftain Alex 08:50, 22 March 2026 (UTC)
