Event order

I was advised that these can all happen on the west side of the map, completing one part seems to help expedite the process for the next, and the order appears to be:

- Patrols (Plant Banners) > Champion (Destabilize) > Fishing (Icy Waters) > Shards (Save the Kodan Scouts) > Ceremony (Close the Rifts)

Event credit

I am pretty sure that only the events with the trial primers give credit for this achievement. The trial event that spawns after doesn't seem to count. --BuffsEverywhere (talk) 16:23, 3 February 2020 (UTC)

That's exactly how I experienced it too. At least for "Plant Banners to Challenge the Svanir" I'm 100% sure, I did the patrol event yesterday and finished stomping the svanirs before killing the last foe (this particular order seems to be required for this achievement). After killing the last foe and hence finishing the event the achievement objective was unlocked (and due to being the last task, also the achievement was completed). This would explain why I lacked credit when completing the scout escort event, as I didn't do the primer event. Konig (talk) 17:19, 3 February 2020 (UTC)

Notes on Icon

is clearly visible at the fifth step from max zoom.

I have not seen more than one marker at a time.

I have seen it during Storms of Winter as well as during Defeat Drakkar

Patrol events

Not every patrol event with a trial marker grants the archievemnt progress. The Patrol event in Eastern Aberrant Forest at least is not. (And yes I did the whole event chain; twice) --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 128.0.151.217 (talk).

Patrol event in Aberrant Forest most likely bugged. I went there once where the trial icon popped up, and didn't see any patrols at all. -- Shena'Fu (talk) 20:36, 2 October 2022 (UTC)

I'm grounded on Bjora for like 3 or 4 days and I'm yet to see a Trial Patrol spawn. The timer on these should be shorter..

Patrol trials do seem rarer than others. Most common I've seen are fishing and saving the kodan scouts. -- Shena'Fu (talk) 20:40, 2 October 2022 (UTC)

Trial Spawn Behavior

I spent the last few hours trying to get Koda be Prasied and noticed an inconsistent pattern in spawning behavior of the trials. Sometimes it would take a very short time for the next one to spawn and sometimes it would take a very long time (up to 30 mins). After some further testing what I believe is happening is the trials spawn in both a set order and only on newly spawned events. The times it took the trial a very long to spawn were, seemingly, caused by no new event of the next trial spawning because the older ones never ended naturally. I noticed this because of the corrupted shard trials would not spawn since no one does those events and they don't despawn naturally. I thought it was the meta spawning, assuming it paused the trials spawning, but the weird occurrence happened again when no meta was up. If anyone else can repeat this behavior please take off the verification needed tags on the 2 notes in the notes section and add or move them to walkthrough section.

I did the "Earn gold participation in 20 ... events in Bjora Marches" achievements and so did like 80 Events on that map in the last day and want to comment on the

"Completing events without an active trial can help increase the frequency at which it might spawn with the trial active." Note.

I saw no evidence at all, that completing events has anything to do with spawning of Trials of Koda events.

Trials of Koda events just randomly spawn one after another. The "best way" I found to find the Trials of Koda events is just open the map and zoom out (as they got marked) and wait for the icon to appear.
