The Proximity Sensor[edit]
The proximity sensor is the story progress bar in the upper right. There's no device or action key. It grows longer when close to the palce where you should plant the seed.
Contradicting lines of dialogue of the Statics Researcher (from the "Back in the room" section)[edit]
He says the creatures "have no reproductive organs", then immediately says he has "gathered pollen" from some of them.

Sorry guys, but this walkthrough is not good enough when it comes to the final chamber. Things it requires: 1. A thorough explanation of what's going on. 2. What you need to do at each stage. i.e. He comes to repair a thing and what that cog thing is. (I have no idea!) 3. How to do what you need to do without being detected. Sorry, but it seriously doesn't help. I've done the entire game. All expansions, up to the last of Janthir. All LW seasons -- Except Season 2, where I am stuck in this exact spot. Even with the help of this page, I cannot find a way to accomplish what it says I need to without being swarmed and rapidly killed. Cannot even try the "attrition" method of eliminating even ONE enemy before being killed because they immediately respawn. I'd normally be inclined to think I'm just too dumb to "get it", but like I said, I've quite literally done every other part of the game.
