Any way to reach this without doing the event?

This is always the last PoI I get on my alts because of the event requirement :< Any way to get there with mounts or something? -- kazerniel (talk) 18:06, 29 December 2018 (UTC)

As far as I am aware, there is no other way to get this POI. I have HoT map completion on about 60 characters at this moment, and have spent lots of time trying to obtain this without the event being completed, with no success, both before and since the introduction of mounts. Someone added it is possible to reach this with mounts (sep 2024), I just tried that and was ported out before getting close enough to the POI. So either this is not possible, or the way is not intuitive and requires a specific route? Yok (talk) 19:25, 10 May 2025 (UTC)

It's possible with springer or skyscale. Starting from the mastery insight if you jump to the top of the cliff, then you can glide down on top of the poi. It's not inside the cave but the poi still unlocks. I can put together some images and instructions. Snitching (talk) 23:44, 10 May 2025 (UTC)

Hmm.. I've gotten inside the cave, but going closer than ~1580 units to the poi ports me out. Blinks did get me even closer and I can briefly see my character move, but the poi didn't unlock :( Snitching (talk) 01:51, 11 May 2025 (UTC)
