Farming Spare Parts

Here's the method that worked best for me:

(I estimate about 1-3 hours for getting about 1k Spare Parts, as can greatly vary on efficiency, via this method.)

1. Advance the story to after Canach is waiting for you where you can use the #5 skill, Micro Cloud, in Forearmed Is Forewarned.

2. Then go to the West part of the map, start attacking enemies, ideally with far range, such as a Skyscale fireball. Travel around till you see some turrets, activate your cloack, and start using the #5 skill on them. Most of the time when you're still, the enemies won't detect you.

Note:

- The turrets usually seem to spawn off screen when the enemy is on high alert (indicated by red eyes throughout the map, instead of yellow), primarily near the West edges of the map. Though they are probably most common, where the largest groups of enemies are on the map.

- It seems to have max effect on turret spawn rate when cloaked using bombs, or dust mites, on the enemies, to get large groups of turrets to spawn.

- Sometimes you may want to uncloak to mount up to quickly get far enough away to get out of combat, especially the weird combat range of the turrets, so that you can cloak again to continue the #5 skill.

3. Repeat until you have 1k+ Spare Parts, so that you can complete the FTT quest.
