Divers Breather Helmet[edit]

All level 80 stats, including Diviner's, are available when customizing the Diver's Breather Helmet. I don't know if that means it can be changed to that stat if it was created differently, but it would seem likely. The note on the talk page states that some stats are not available for Breather Helmets. Separ (talk) 22:39, 30 January 2021 (UTC)

From Breathing apparatus "Warning: Not all insignias can be used to change stats on ascended breathers. As an example, attempting to change breather stats by placing a Plaguedoctor's Intricate Gossamer Insignia in the Mystic Forge will not yield a functioning recipe."
Afaik the note on this page is trying to say you can select any stat initially on the stat selectable diving gear such as Wegloop's or Diver's Breather Helmet, but if you were to attempt to stat swap the same item later, then certain insignia don't have the option to mystic forge at all. Sounds like an expensive research project. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 00:28, 31 January 2021 (UTC)
Plaguedoctor's Intricate Gossamer Insignia was tested by myself with my Auromancer but that was maybe a year back.--DiegoDeLaHouska (talk) 00:41, 31 January 2021 (UTC)

Feedback 2022/03/06[edit]

Stat changing chak infusion requires 5 mystic coins, not glob of coagulated mist essence - https://imgur.com/a/KhrUxHe. --89.0.3.121 11:04, 6 March 2022 (UTC)

Thanks for your feedback. I've corrected the page. --BuffsEverywhere (talk) 13:22, 6 March 2022 (UTC)

Stat Query Lookup[edit]

I found a link which allows you to check which items are capable of having their stats changed.
It looks like every type of Ascended gear (Weapon, Armor, Trinkets) has some specific gear that cannot have it's stats changed.
Here is the link to the query: https://wiki.gw2.org.cn/wiki/Special:RunQuery/Equipment_query -Zoomjah (talk) 21:31, 27 August 2025 (UTC)
The equipment query page lets you look for gear and filter by stats, but something being select-able doesn't really matter for the changing page? The page goes over the armor/weapon swap recipe and the special cases already like blood/mist trinkets and the exceptions like Caladbolg. Was there some confusion on this or a suggestion for the page? Because it seems like there is some confusion since you can't use the stat swap recipe on trinkets/back to begin with and the query does not sort out "which items are capable of having their stats changed" --Dak393 (talk) 02:04, 28 August 2025 (UTC)
There are Ascended Rings which can have their stats changed through the process of attunement or infusion. Attunement is quite inexpensive. Infusion is useful for Tier 4 fractals to meet the recommended 150 Agony Resistance.
Here is the link that talks about attunement and infusion: Attuned equipment
Here is the lists of Ascended rings that have selectable stats: link -Zoomjah (talk)
"There are Ascended Rings which can have their stats changed through the process of attunement or infusion." There are not. Attuning and infusing equipment deletes the item and gives you a new item. If it was selectable to begin with you can pick stats again but getting a new item is not swapping stats nor does it allow you to select set stat items. Note that this is already mentioned on the page under "Pseudo stat reset" section as well.
"Infusion is useful for Tier 4" Sure but not relevant here and you can still hit 153 AR with +9s in 17 slots instead of 18 (no infused back) or less with things like tear. But again, not really relevant for this page.
Well aware of attuning and infusing, again these are not the same and are even already mentioned. --Dak393 (talk) 05:01, 29 August 2025 (UTC)
That makes sense. Thanks for the clarification. My apologies for the semantic debate. -Zoomjah (talk)
All good, it's a good point to make about new items being selectable again so it's a good reason to still have it on the page --Dak393 (talk) 05:18, 29 August 2025 (UTC)
