So unenjoyable[edit]

After disabling the flame walls by using surrounding boulders and/or? charged crystals or similar that the 'Jade armor-type' things drop when you kill them, follow the markers and enter the big Asuran lab-type place. Head up to the central platform high up and be ready for Scruffy who is nigh-on invincible and generates static storms to 'get' you whilst Scruffy actually is invulnerable. You need to go across the Asura 'stepping stone' plates to get to the Asura gate areas around the room, 'kill' the static energy things - yellow targets - then take the static energy and use it to kill the static storms. I don't think you need to kill the awaiting Inquest minions, but if you're feeling as annoyed as I was it may help you feel better too :x It took me forever and I'm sure there was a better way of doing it, but I got there in the end, so this might help a bit for anyone else who gets a bit stuck before someone writes a decent walkthrough. Oh, and during this irritating, chaotic fight, Taimi keeps asking for your help and to hurry up as she's running out of air.. The preceding unsigned comment was added by 78.150.241.107 (talk).

This isn't really the place to complain about the game. If you want to critique the content, you should take it to the forums instead of the talk pages. These are more for discussing elements of what is included in the articles.--Rognik (talk) 04:01, 12 December 2017 (UTC)

You Left This[edit]

For the Achievement "You Left This" - if you have Taimi's Hair Bow but don't give it to her during the mission, is there a way to give it to her later in the game and still get the achievement or do you have to replay the mission? Anyone know what happens if you destroy Taimi's Hair Bow before you give it to her? Will it reappear when re-running the mission? Chrome (talk) 08:02, 16 March 2020 (UTC)

Probably can get another from the object after the bells if you retry. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 18:59, 16 March 2020 (UTC)

"Stand Your Ground" Skyscale Exploit[edit]

Appears to have been patched, or instructions are unclear. Using the Skyscale to fly above the arena during the Discharge Phase removes the qualification effect. 71.57.217.58 07:31, 26 February 2022 (UTC)

Boss fight bugs[edit]

I successfully finished (after about 4 or 5 attempts):

I've found out that logging out (to the character select screen) does allow you to start the boss over again.

Here is what I concluded:
(1) Do NOT use a Skyscale fireball attack AT ALL during this boss fight, while it may seem convenient, is quite likely to bug out the mission, so that you'll have to start over again.
(2) Only destroy one Inquest Power Conduit at a time, with a regular weapon. Then you should have enough to finish the mission.
(3) Melee focused builds can be quite annoying in this mission, as they can be frequently knocked down, and pulled in. If you are using one, I recommend having something to help pull the aggro off of you.
(4) You don't have to destroy most (or maybe any) of the electrical turrets that are on the islands, it seems that if you destroy all of them this might lead to buggy results. I was destroying these, because I thought it was protecting the Inquest Power Conduit, but it seems they only exist to harass you.
Additional info:
- If you missed certain achievements tied to the story (like giving Taimi her hair bow back before exiting the instances), and the game recognizes that you've completed the chapter on that character already; you don't have to complete the ENTIRE chapter over again. Instead (1) start the chapter in the story journal (2) go on your map directly to where the part of your story you need an achievement for begins, and you should see a purple star on the map, which you can interact with to focus on specific parts which should help with the achievements in that part of the story.
- When you reach 5%, you can jump off and glide, then wait till the AoE spam is done, and NPC dialogue progresses. It will continue with Taimi released. Make sure to give her the bow before you leave the instance... or else you'll have to do the boss fight again.

Flame wall pressure plates[edit]

The small pressure plates can be activated by player characters; however, you must use two branded crystals to activate the large plate. After the group leaves the small pressure plates, the large pressure plate is once again engulfed in flames and any PCs standing on the large plate will be expelled. --Vm0d (talk) 14:11, 4 December 2025 (UTC)

Timing is Everything[edit]

Eligible party members must pass the bells before the final chain is pulled, as eligibility is removed from all party members when the chain is pulled. --Vm0d (talk) 13:49, 5 December 2025 (UTC)
