Description[edit]
This template will add tagged pages to Category:Candidates for deletion or Category:Candidates for speedy deletion. To tag a page, add the respective template to the top of a page. Use the speedy tag for non-controversial articles, i.e. move remnants. The regular tags are used if a deletion needs to be discussed first.
Note: Put the tag between <noinclude> </noinclude> tags for deletion of transcluded pages (e.g. templates). If the page is a redirect, put the tag above the redirect itself.

Parameters[edit]
- 1 (unnamed parameter)
- Required. Reason for proposed deletion.
- If the reason includes the phrase "vandal", "move remnant", "spam" or "author request" it will additionally be marked as qualifying for speedy deletion.
