The Battle for Mount Maelstrom is a meta event that takes place in Mount Maelstrom. The quests revolve around stopping the volcano from erupting while defending against destroyers emerging from the volcano. Every three hours, the volcano becomes unstable and the Megadestroyer world boss will emerge from Maelstrom's Core, threatening to blow everything up. Defeating it will award a daily Ancient Treasure chest.
