Dialogue[edit]

Approaching Archivist Darchelle
Archivist Darchelle: Um, Commander? A word, please, when you have a moment.
Speaking with Archivist Darchelle
I could use your help tracking something down, if you have the time, Commander.
Talk collection option.png Sure, fill me in.
Archivist Darchelle: Several tablets I've uncovered make mention of a piece of relief art called "The Uplift."
Archivist Darchelle: But it's nowhere to be found, and the others mentioned alongside it are in surprisingly good condition.
Archivist Darchelle: Can you keep watch for any clues to its disappearance or where it might be now?
Talk end option tango.png Perhaps another time.
Back again, Commander? What can I do for you?
Talk more option tango.png Can you remind me what I was looking for? (opens achievement page)
Talk end option tango.png Just wanted to say hi.
Upon finding the Art Relief Fragment in step 2
<Character name>: This looks like a fragment of some larger work. I wonder if this is what Darchelle was looking for.
Step 3 Return to Archivist Darchelle.
Archivist Darchelle: Yes! This could actually be a piece of it. And you said you found this hidden in a vault?
Archivist Darchelle: The comments on "The Uplift" get more negative as I advance through the historical records.
Archivist Darchelle: Then, it suddenly stops being mentioned at all. Clearly, at some point they turned against whatever it represented.
Archivist Darchelle: If you can find the rest, maybe we can figure out what that was. They're probably locked away in a similar fashion.
Step 4-7
Primary article: Art Relief Fragment
Step 8 Return to Archivist Darchelle with your findings.
Archivist Darchelle: Yes, I see it now. The arms of the seers reaching back; the uplifting of the other peoples of Tyria.
Archivist Darchelle: But as more civilizations came about, they needed to cement themselves as Tyria's rightful leaders.
Archivist Darchelle: Art like this would have undermined that idea.
Archivist Darchelle: I don't judge the past, though, Commander. I'm going to live there too someday, after all.
Archivist Darchelle: I need to stay out here in the field, and I doubt I can protect that piece very well.
Archivist Darchelle: You'll make sure it's kept somewhere safe, right, Commander?
