The Torch of Divine Fire is a torch bundle imbued with the power of the gods. It is created by a ritual which mimics the ancient process of Ascension, as documented in the tome Fire of the Gods: The History and Structure of the Trials of Ascension, whereby champions would be granted the favor of the gods and possibly receive a measure of their power and knowledge. During the events of Arcana Obscura, the ritual is performed within the Special Collections, reliving the trials of Ascension with the Echo of Turai Ossa to summon the torch. Ogden Stonehealer warns that touching the torch could possibly be fatal.
