Triumphant Hero's armor is a level 80, WvW-exclusive Exotic, Ascended or Legendary armor set. Each ascended or exotic piece can only be acquired once the equivalent Triumphant armor (tier 1) piece has been unlocked. Armor pieces are purchased with WvW Skirmish Claim Tickets, earned by participating in World versus World.
This is the second of the three tiers of Triumphant armor. Individual items from higher tiers can be only acquired after unlocking their respective armor pieces of a previous tier:
- Triumphant armor (exotic) – a similar set to the Triumphant Hero's armor, but its design features slightly less intricate patterns
- Triumphant Hero's armor (exotic, ascended or legendary)
- Mistforged Triumphant Hero's armor (ascended or legendary) – similar to Triumphant Hero's armor, but features blue glowing effects
Acquisition[edit]
Exotic and Ascended[edit]
Individual armor pieces are purchased from Skirmish Supervisor at the starting areas of all WvW zones.

The Grandmaster Mark type depends on the armor weight: Tailor's for light armor, Leatherworker's for medium, and Armorsmith's for heavy.
It takes a total 1,310
WvW Skirmish Claim Tickets in total to obtain an exotic or ascended set of Triumphant Hero's armor, 3,930
for all three armor weights. It takes approximately 4 weeks (at 365
per week) to obtain the full set of one weight.
- Notes
- As the sets share skins, either rarity will satisfy the requirement for buying the next tier Mistforged Triumphant Hero's armor.
- Stat changing an armor piece will produce a different item which cannot be used as a precursor armor anymore.
- Exotic pieces cannot be used as precursors.
Legendary[edit]
- Primary article: Legendary armor#WvW armor set
Crafting the legendary armor uses the corresponding Ascended piece as a precursor. Several items needed in the crafting process require the Heart of Thorns expansion unlocked.

Available prefixes[edit]
- The following prefixes can be selected for any of the exotic, ascended or legendary armor pieces:
Notes[edit]
- It is recommended that you do not attempt to stat change your precursor item with the standard stat swap recipe in the Mystic Forge. While you will be provided with an item with the desired stats, it will have been replaced with a generic ascended item that cannot be used as a legendary precursor.
