Phrases for commanding


Strikes/Raids[edit]

No stress/no pressure raid training (no KP, LI, SC) - Easy fun run focusing on IBS, SotO (CO) and EoD strikes -

Core Game[edit]

Old Lions Court[edit]

  • Three bosses, Red, Green and Blue. Each will appear at 100% and be invulnerable with a large AOE that is an insta-kill. During these phases, there is a defiance bar on the boss.
  • If you break the boss defiance bar, the AoE zone flips. We do not need to break the breakbar when they are solo - just stand in a safe spot and wait it out.
  • First phase (100-80) take the boss down, try and lure bosses to edge of the arena. Repeat on the other 2 bosses. When all bosses are at 80%, they do a combined attack.
  • During the combined attack, there is no safe spot to stand. We must break the defiance bar of the correct boss to flip that bosses killzone.
  • We can only break one defiance bar during this combined attack. If the wrong one is broken, there will still be no safe zone, and the mission is a failure.
  • The order is Green (80%), Red (40%) and Blue (10%).
  • Second phase 80-40 is straightforward, occasional killzones appear, avoid them. Only the active boss is vulnerable.
  • Third phase 40-10 is trickier - during the red boss, the green boss needs luring away. Again, only the active boss is vulnerable.
  • For the final 10%, all 3 will be there and vulnerable - take them down individually as a group, no synchronised kills required.

Ice Brood Saga[edit]

Shiverpeaks Pass[edit]

  • This mission is a small Jumping Puzzle, followed by a boss. If you don't like JPs don't worry, there is a teleport once someone reaches the end
  • When someone gets there, there will be a small blue teleport icon on the minimap - once we are there, will give details about the boss
  • Boss uses smash to create shockwaves to jump, large 50% AoEs, and ice spins - use stability or dodge to counteract. Otherwise this is a simple DPS fight


Voice/Claw[edit]

  • Both bosses need to die simultaneously - we will take Voice (with the bow) down to ~25%, then focus on the hammer guy (Claw)
  • Voice (Bow) - stand at the 8 o clock position
  • Claw (Hammer) - stand at the 11 o clock position
  • When both under 20%, they meet in the middle. Use the special action to help take them down faster
    • After the battle, type /gg and wait for everyone to die - can give bonus rewards

Fraenir[edit]

  • This boss swaps to his alternate form at 75%
  • Stay in the middle, do _not_ chase it, it will come to us. Keeps things flowing
  • Ranged character - target the adds and the icicles


Whisper of Jormag[edit]

  • We get thrown into the air - use the glider to land safely, avoid the AoE zones. Also, we all get a large circle at some point, separate so we don't take extra damage.
  • Similarly, a player will get a green circle with yellow arrows on it - the more people in this circle the less damage they all take - share the pain.
  • If you get a red timer marker above you, you're getting a chain. 3 of us will have the chain at the same time. When you have a chain, it's between you/the boss. Others who touch the chain die.
  • If you have a chain, best practice is to move back a just little (so the chain doesn't move), and do not move around the boss. Might need to use judgement if we get thrown into the air.

Boneskinner[edit]

  • Hardest of the IBS Strikes, we might need to try a few times on this one
  • He has a zone of torment around him. Fairly small, but always taking damage in it
  • Stay out of his cone attack. His cone attack always targets one of the torches around the outside
  • Every torch that goes out increases the size of his torment zone. Relighting a torch will shrink it again
  • When he raises his front right arm, he creates AoE pools under each player - if we are all in the same place, all the pools spawn in the same place
    • When the pools are created, step to the left (we are going clockwise around him) - we all need to stick together so that we can all be healed

Forging Steel[edit]

  • 4 quick mini-events to start this mission. Can 2 people volunteer to be the snipers
  • 1st chokepoint - need 2 snipers, 4 at the forward portal, 4 defending the tank (2 side lanes 2 each)
  • 2nd chokepoint - keep moving, ignore the elementals from behind
  • Gate - someone needs to use the tank for skill 1 on the 2 targetable points, then skill 3 on the weak point
  • 2 snipers to head to the north and take down the shielded dwarves - everyone else take down dwarves, pick up cannons to take down shields
  • 3rd chokepoint - Ignore elementals, don't forget to grab a cannon for onslaught area
  • Onslaught - use cannon on champion, snipers as before mini JP to get to snipe point
  • 3 buttons, trivial JP
  • Final boss - when the vent countdown comes up, head to the tank. Use tank skill 3 when the break bar appears, and repeat fire skill 1 for high damage

Cold War[edit]

  • Mobs come from the bridge, and to the left/right of it. Stack in the centre and kill them
  • Don't go too far to the edge, or you can be targeted by invisible/invulnerable mobs fast
  • Use charzookas to take down choppers. Use Special Action to drop bombs on bosses or large groups
  • The more we kill in the timed section, the more rewards at the end
  • Final boss - standard spread AoE under feet mechanic, otherwise just keep hitting him

End of Dragons[edit]

Aetherblade Assault[edit]

  • Bring plenty of CC for this fight.
  • When attacking the spirits, leave the one with a break bar for last - killing sooner makes the others stronger
  • When the circles start spinning, look for the sniper, and pick the place *not* on the sniper path (at right angles to it)

Kaineng Overlook[edit]

  • Minister Li Phase (1,3,5) - if you get a number above you, move to the side/corner
  • Focus on the Mindblade in phase 2, unless you are being focused by the Enforcer, in which case split them up. If we can stack on the Ritualist that's a nice bonus
  • Focus on the Sniper in phase 4, when he teleports

Harvest Temple[edit]

  • Purification phase - 2 players North, 2 south, 2 east, 2 west, and 2 "pushers"
  • Pushers push the orb into the white zone, everyone else, kill the adds that come out of your portal
  • When the orb is ready to be CCd, commander shouts CC, throw CCs onto the orb when you can

Secrets of the Obscure[edit]

Cosmic Observatory[edit]

  • Be careful of the spin attack, stand back until it's done. Don't run to Dagda if teleporting, will teleport back to the middle.
  • When the bullseye marker appears, 5 on the line, bullseye at the back
  • When the CC bar appears around 40%, we have to break it quickly or game over
  • At the end, we can all type "/gg" (without quotes) and be dead at the same time, we get bonus shards
