Battle in Tarir is a map meta event that occurs in Auric Basin and is split into two meta events, Trial by Fire and Battle in Tarir. Mordrem have attacked the city of Tarir and the Exalted are defending their city using various trials to find warriors to help them in their defense of Tarir before Mordrem breach its sanctum.

Complete the Trial by Fire pre-event challenges to earn Enchanted Armor(s) for the battle ahead.

Defeat all four Octovines in the Battle in Tarir within a co-ordinated 2 minute time window. The time window starts when the first octovine reaches zero health. If the time window expires then the octovines regenerate some health and the group event mechanic has to be repeated until successful, or the global event timer runs out and the event fails.

Notes

• The Exalted Portal icons in Tarnished Treetop will disappear during this time to avoid confusion with the Enchanted Armor Challenges.
• The Legacy Pillars plaza interior and Exalted Mastery Vendor cannot be accessed during the event.
• If entering from Gilded Hollow while this map meta is occurring, you can use the scout outside the entrance to be teleported outside of the city of Tarir.
• The Gold Backpack Frame will drop only if the player has begun the  Warmaster's Pack collection.
