Entry 8
I collected some berries near the western temple in an attempt to make the concoction more palatable, as ingesting the paste seems to raise its efficiency. When exposed directly to blood, it burns too quickly. When rubbed over skin, it burns too slowly. But when ingested, it absorbs at precisely the correct speed.
I have, at last, completed the concoction. I've administered it to the gwyldell first. Next, myself.

Damn it. Something is still missing.
After the test subject seemed to be healing. I administered a full dose the antidote to myself. And I hate to admit it, but I have made a critical error. Within a few hours, we both began to ooze thick mucus. And, alchemy, it burns. It's almost as if the toxins have moved from my insides to my flesh, and now I'm covered in them. If only I had a way to cleanse myself of the mucus, maybe then would I be healed. I recall Sebb's early experiments when we first arrived on Castora. On the wavehawks. I don't remember the specifics, as the burning is overcoming my every sense. But the traces of saliva found in their water-propulsing organs houses various enzymes that might... I'll attempt to call for aid.
