Build Template Expansion

Add an extra Build Template tab to the character. Each character can unlock up to 6 additional Build Template tabs.
Build Template tabs allow a character to create and swap to an additional build.— In-game description
Build Template Expansion is a Gem Store upgrade that unlocks an an extra Build Template tab for the character it is used on. This is not an account-wide unlock, and there is no way to recover Template Expansions when a character is deleted. Each character can unlock up to 9 Build Template tabs.

Trivia[edit]
- This consumable was introduced with the October 29, 2019 update.
- A complimentary Build Template Expansion was available to players free of charge on November 27th 2020.
- With the release of the End of Dragons expansion, the maximum number of Build Templates per character has increased from 6 to 8.
- With the release of the Janthir Wilds expansion, the maximum number of Build Templates per character has increased from 8 to 9.
- Using this consumable on a fully unlocked character will display the text: No additional Build Template tabs are available to purchase. Thank you for your support of Guild Wars 2!
