Circus Castaways are the members of a series of circus ships that were shipwrecked on Ember Bay after a trip to the Heart of Maguuma.

Hi! My name is Lava. Are you a <Character race>/<character profession>¹? Momma tells me stories about all the different people and animals back in Tyria. I hope I get to see them one day.

I don't know. Momma tells me about a place called the City. It sounds so amazing! Momma says it's like a giant circus full of tons of performers and suckers. I can't wait to see it!
