Anomalies:

• The Waterlogged Chest contains Ancient Asuran Power Source, an item otherwise unrelated to Siren's Landing.
• Only rewards one Unstable salvage item instead of two like other events.

Walkthrough

Bug:

Having a Jade Bot Power Core prevents the artifact skills from appearing. Unequip the core and then reclaim an artifact to get back access to the skills.

To defeat the wyvern, players must first break its defiance bar. To do so, grab an Artifact of Dwayna floating in the area to gain access to special gliding skills. Approach the wyvern, using Skill 3,   Dash, to combat the wyvern's wing buffeting push back (alternatively, fly through the wyvern's ring breath attack). Use Skill 1,   Throw Artifact, once close enough to deal defiance bar damage.

Once the defiance bar is broken, the wyvern is stunned until it is filled again, leaving it defenseless to normal attacks. The only threat to players at the time will be a few unchained spiders.

When the wyvern is not stunned, its platform applies a damage over time effect, making it unsafe to stay on between the wing buffeting attacks.

What's wrong?

I need to get back to my camp, but this dragon has me pinned down. Could you get rid of it for me? It's of the utmost importance and urgency.

How do you propose I do that?

I suppose you could use my artifacts. They contain concentrated wind energy that will be released if you break them.

I can throw them at the wyvern then.

If that's our only option, yes. They're precious to my research, but given the circumstances... They should stun the dragon and blow away its poison for a brief time.

Research is not worth losing your life.
