Dissolution of the Ministry of Purity, 1747 CC
This book describes how Empress Haebaragi formally disbanded the Ministry of Purity a few years into her reign. This effort involved putting down a rebellion of the Ministry's loyalists who had gathered in Zen Daijun to oppose her decree. In the aftermath, "Purist affiliations" were formally outlawed, and the works of the Ministry of Purity were gradually swept away by the empress's reforms.
On the inside cover is a handwritten list of names added by a different writer, accompanied by a small note: 'They're still out there!"
