Dialogue[edit]

After the previous event ends
Engineer Marinus: Hear that? Trouble is on the way.
A group of invulnerable ghosts spawn, consisting of Ascalonian Healer, Ascalonian Fighter, and 2 Ascalonian Archers
Ascalonian Fighter: Die, charr scum. Die!
Engineer Marinus after the previous event ends and during this event
Ghosts are pouring in from the old duke's estate. We need to drive them out of Lake Feritas and back where they came from.
Talk end option tango.png Yes, sir.
When the event starts
Engineer Marinus: Move on, humans! This is charr territory now, and you're trespassing.
Ghosts become attackable, defeating them counts to the objective as the first raiding party killed
Upon killing 5 raiding parties
Engineer Marinus: Ha! Look at them fall! They can't die, but they can be taken down a peg.
Upon killing 6 raiding parties
Engineer Marinus: Good! Keep pushing back on them! Let them know this is our land now!
Upon killing 8 raiding parties
Engineer Marinus: Keep thinning their ranks! Victory is in sight!
Upon killing 9 raiding parties
The final group of ghosts that spawns has Breena among them
Breena: You'll never take Ascalon! We'll die first!
When the event ends
Engineer Marinus: Heh. Ascalon's army is as incompetent as ever.
Engineer Marinus: Thanks for pitching in.
Engineer Marinus: (yawning)
Engineer Marinus: I could do with some leave.
Engineer Marinus starts walking to the circular bunker north-east from Smokestead Waypoint, and, upon reaching it, despawns
Engineer Marinus after the event ends
Thanks for the help back there. Sometimes I think I'd be safer out on the battlefield dealing with ghosts than back here working with these contraptions.
Talk end option tango.png You don't have to convince me.
