- This event chain alternates with and will not start if Escort Wise Keeper to Blasted Haven is active or in preparation state.
- While this event is active, the Protect Soderhem Steading from the icebrood and Defend Njordstead villagers from the icebrood event chains can start.
- As this event begins, the Claw of Jormag flies overhead dropping the Corrupted Ice Cores.
