Walkthrough

Starting at a bit east of  Frozen Sea Monastery — , Lau walks to  Emerald Bluff — in a mostly straight line. He passes through a shrine on the way, and is ambushed by void creatures on both sides of it, requiring them to be killed to proceed.

The Security Guard accompanying him will help with resurrecting him if he is downed.

Bug:

If the Escort Sangsa to Frozen Sea Monastery event is almost complete or the follow-up Defeat the Void creature event is active, Lau might run to that event to help if an ambush in his event is active. Enemies will continue spawning at the ambush site, and defeating them will make him return to his path.
