- Northern Refugee (male): Foo. Quaggans fled south, but quaggans aren't safe here either. Quaggan doesn't think a safe home exists.
- Reanna the Hunter: That's not true! There's a quaggan town in Valslake, to the south. I can take you there.
- Northern Refugee (female): Coo! You would do that?
- Clever Dunne: (laugh) She's soft-hearted that way. You guys have a safe trip. I'll stay here.
- Once they have arrived at the edge of Valslake
- Reanna the Hunter: Okay. That was the last of them. It should be safe for you two to enter the lake.
